          Mathematics: 

 

     

    Maths is the most sought after subject we teach. The reason for this may be that, along with English, Mathematics is the most freequently examined subject and is used to test children through entrance and national exams from as early as 11 years of age. Second reason may be the big difference in difficulty between GCSE and A-levels mathematics. After scoring very high marks in their GCSEs many students feel that A-levels are just a continuation of their  studies and expect the same pace as before but are soon surprised by the change in pace and difficulty. Many adjust after a month or two, but some feel a bit lost and need extra help outside the classroom to bridge this huge gap.

    We teach Mathematics at all levels and to all age groups. We specialise in preparing students for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams to some of London's and country's top schools but we also have many students who continue using our tutors throughout their education. Second biggest group of our students are those who found A-levels a bit chalenging and would like to fill-in some of the "knowledge holes" acquired through their education. Level and freequency of tuition is discussed and agreed upon at the first, free 1-hour dagnostic lesson.

          English:

 

 

   Apart from being one of the most freequently examined subjects on your child's academic path and progression, it is also vital prerequisite for academic success overall. Good grammar, syntax, sentence structure and creative writing all add to your child's ability to write more comprehensive and better structured essays, lab reports, exams questions and other text-heavy analyses which will help with all other subjects and topics of interest.

    Similarly to Mathematics, we teach English at all levels and to all age groups, with special emphasis on 11+ and 13+ entrance exams preparation and helping our students get into some of London's and country's top schools. 

​

     A growing number of our students also uses their English tutors to help them later on in their academic career with assignments, essays and personal statements for entry to some of the best UK and international universities. If you feel that your child needs some help with his personal statement, essay, assignment or a dissertation, we now also offer a specialised service devoted to re-writing and correcting/formatting these and similar.
